- You take full technical responsibility for our B2B SaaS platform: TypeScript and React, Python with Django and Celery, Rust, running on Linux-based dedicated hardware
- Our engineering team of currently 16 people reports to you. Developing them, strengthening them and helping them grow is the largest part of the job.
- Together with product and management you shape product strategy and drive architecture, scalability and security forward, including ISO 27001 and NIS2.
- We currently work in Shape Up with six-week cycles. You keep our delivery focused, make that pace visible beyond engineering, and bring in a different way of working where it would serve us better.
- Reporting directly to the CEO puts you at the table where decisions are made, rather than having them handed down.

What You'll Be Working On
What Makes You a Fit
- You like the pace a startup makes possible: short paths, fast decisions, doing it yourself rather than escalating. Ideally you have been part of a growth story that worked out.
- A team of at least 15 people has been your responsibility for two years or more, including performance conversations and developing people; several teams in parallel is a plus.
- You communicate in a way that makes change land, not as an announcement, but so that people want to move with you
- AI is part of how you work rather than how you present: Claude, Copilot, Cursor or similar in long-term use, and you bring the topic into the team instead of keeping it to yourself.
- You have made technical decisions in a scaling environment and know what the path from startup to scale-up genuinely demands of architecture and process.
- You understand how your work reaches the customer, and you argue from impact and value rather than feature counts.
- And you bring energy. This role needs someone with an appetite for the job, not only experience with it.
